For a long time we dragons have fought each-other, since the world began. We have been hailed by some cultures as saviors, and by others as destroyers, sweeping humanity from the Earth with fire and rage. Some of us have chosen to dwell in shadow, kidnapping, stealing, and causing terror where ever we fly, however a few of us have also chosen to rise above the lies and the fear, to over come the darkness and to protect humanity. There have been some, such as Sybaris of the sea, who would kidnap the young to feast upon, and who have rightly been slain by bold heroes of strong heart and arm, and yet there have also been others, such as Jilocasin, who have given their strength and their love to humanity, even marrying into your race, or granting boons to humans. We, much like you, can be good or evil, strong and beautiful or ugly and terrible to behold. We are the dragons, and on this world we shall do battle.

Red Dragon, power of fire breathing and some magics.

Maxamillion likes to be called Maxi by his friends, has lived for over 200 of the human years, striving to understand humanity, and dwelling among them at every opportunity to watch them live and grow. He believes that not only can dragons and other races of the Mystical live in peace with humans, but that it should be their duty to help them grow, to live in peace, and better their world. He has been alive since the early 1800's, and since then has served the English army in the war of 1812, running guns in the American Civil War, serving in the trenches in World War I to help heal the wounded and the sick of both sides, and as a soldier in the air during the Battle of Britain in World War II. He has seen many friends die, has made many more over the years, and continually alters his shape-shifting so that he may grow old and "die" with his human friends. He has a bit of a temper, as most dragons of flame are prone, and believes in honor and respect above all else. He also enjoys gardening, spending time with loved ones, and is deathly afraid of spiders, and has been known to run screaming at the mere sight of one that is any bigger then an inch long. He is currently living in England, in Yorkshire.

He gets along well with were-wolves, but considers vampires to be a bit shifty. Most other magical races he takes as they come

He is red in his dragon form, but likes wearing colors found in the English forests while he is a human.

He makes friends fairly easily, but if people try to taunt him or start a fight he has been known to lose his temper quickly.

He is considered young by the Dragons, seeing as they are only considered adults at 50 years of age, so they still treat him as an impetuous teenager.

He also likes to change his hair color at random from time to time, and has even tried punk style once, though he prefers the styles and clothes of the 40's and 50's.

He likes the technology of today and listens to an MP3 player from time to time, as well as surfing the internet and reading books and web comics, but also is very interested in the past.

I hope this is ok! I researched the myths to the best of my ability and they were so varied and amazing that I ended up just combining them to make the intro ^^" I've had so much fun doing this contest entry with so many techniques I have never done before, even if I don't place this has been a blast!
